Child labor is a real thing. Children as young as four years old are sold into labor for an abundance of reasons. Some are even there on their own wills, because their families cannot support themselves. They are forced to work for painfully long hours, with daily pay as little as 20 cents.
Around 168 million children are involved in child labor. That's nearly 11% of all the children in the world! Could you imagine that?
